DROLLINGER, Claude R. - 1900

Claud R. Drollinger, son of Dan and Mary Drollinger, was born Dec. 2d, 1877, died March 19th, 1900, aged 22 years, 3 months and 18 days. He leaves father, mother, three brothers and four sisters to mourn his loss. Claud took sick some time ago with lung fever and after his recovery was able to be out, he took sick again, only a few days before his death and rapidly grew worse until he answered the final summons at 2 o’clock Monday morning. He was an exemplary young man, possessing the friendship of all who knew him, and the family have the deepest sympathy of a large circle of friends in this their sad hours The funeral was held Tuesday, a prayer and scriptural reading being conducted by Rev. Schofield in the Bonebrake church, after which the remains were taken in charge by the members of the I.O.O.F. lodge, of which he was a respected member. The lodge performed its service and tenderly laid the remains in their final testing place in the Bonebrake cemetery. – jlr
